Digital Elijah Coin 2020 Edition Tokenized on Polygon and Bitcoin Blockchains
LUV NFT is tokenizing African American history as NFTs to preserve its value while simultaneously sharing and selling it in real-time. As a solution to the selective narrative of Web2 history, our mission is to ensure that all histories are equally represented and traded on the blockchain.
As part of our educational efforts on the process of tokenization and monetization of history, we tokenized The Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s Digital Elijah Coin 2020 Edition physical coin as an LUV NFT for Sajdah Wendy Muhammad. Additionally, we’re educating Sajdah Wendy Muhammad on becoming a Master Blockchain Historian to further spread knowledge about tokenizing African American history.
Digital Elijah Coin 2020 Edition
A rare digital version of a sacred artifact. The divine renovation and preservation of 4847 South Woodlawn Avenue, the former home of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the former National House of the Nation of Islam includes careful preservation and repurposing of 122-year-old materials, like converting copper gutters and downspouts into commemorative collectible coins. Coins have a rich history, making collecting them a rewarding hobby. People collect physical coins for many reasons, including historic or artistic value, or to invest in coins for potential long-term profit.
This NFT is a digital version of the physical Elijah Coin™ which is 1 ounce of pure copper that has been pressed, cleaned, melted at 1,983 degrees Fahrenheit and molded into a commemorative coin, graded by Independent Coin Graders (ICG). The coins are laden with spiritual significance, including 24 stars surrounding an etched image of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad on the front. The traditional “In God We Trust” that is typically seen on coins is replaced with the phrase, “In The Name of Allah”. The back of the coin includes an etching of the sacred home with the phrase “He Lives” written above the Arabic phrase “La Illaha Illallah” which in English means “There Is No God But Allah”. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was quoted as saying,
“When they find out Who I am they will rip the bark off the trees.” “I love and believe in divinity of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Everything he touched, walked on or possessed is sacred. I am humbled that Allah has Entrusted me with the opportunity to preserve this sacred history.”
1,500 Digital Elijah Coin 2020 Edition NFTs are being airdropped to the holders of the physical Elijah Coin 2020 Edition.
A one-of-a-kind Digital Elijah Coin 2020 Edition will be minted as a Bitcoin NFT and auctioned on March 19th, starting at $444K.
Following the Bitcoin Digital Elijah Coin 2020 Edition, Elijah Muhammad’s historic home will be tokenized as a Bitcoin NFT starting at $5M. Historically on the blockchain, this will be the first physical museum preserved as an NFT. The world will value and respect our African American legacy on the blockchain.
